Interviews recorded in cars.
Local creators take a guest for a loop around town and talk. No studio, no script, just two people side by side and the road going past. Watching is free and needs no account.
Tell me when it’s outWatch
Interviews from people near you, by topic, from work and startups to food and sport. No account, ever.
Be interviewed
Say what you’d talk about. A creator asks, you choose a public place to meet, and you can stop being filmed or end it at any point.
Interview people
Check your ID, mount your iPhone, and the app records the road and the cabin while you drive a loop. The footage is yours to edit and post.
Built for getting in someone’s car
- Everyone is 18 or over, and every creator’s ID is checked before they can ask anyone.
- You meet somewhere public. The guest chooses. Never at home, and addresses stay out of the app.
- It’s a loop. The drive ends where it started.
- Nothing is filmed near the meeting point. The picture stays dark within 250 metres of it.
- The guest is in charge of the cameras. Stop filming for 90 seconds, three times, or end the interview outright.
- Nobody pays anybody. It’s a conversation, not a ride.
I started The Passenger because the best conversations I’ve had were in a car. Something about sitting side by side, watching the road go past, and nobody reaching for their phone. No studio, no script, just a loop around town that ends where it started.
